Senior GIS Developer

About the Role

As a Senior GIS Developer at GistechKE, you'll be responsible for leading the development of our core GIS applications and mentoring junior developers. You'll work closely with our product team to design and implement new features while ensuring code quality and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years experience with GIS development
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, and web mapping libraries
• Strong understanding of spatial algorithms and data structures
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
